Choosing your first home at university is a big step. Our studios are designed for a personalised student living experience with your own ensuite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. With rooms varying in size, views, orientation and floors, it is important to select a studio that suits your lifestyle, whether you prefer city views, a quieter space, or being close to communal areas for a vibrant social experience.
We offer flexible start dates to accommodate around you. Our studios are available to book online from 1st September until 22nd September, subject to your chosen contract length and availability. If you are looking to move in over the summer, please contact us so we can provide you with a bespoke contract.
We offer flexible contract options ranging from 45 to 51 weeks to suit your needs:
45 Weeks: Ideal for undergraduate students who plan to complete their year of study and stay in the city for a few additional weeks after their academic year ends.
51 Weeks: Perfect for postgraduate students on one year courses, or for students who wish to secure the same studio for consecutive years.
If you are planning to stay in the same studio for multiple years, we recommend booking the 51-week contract.
Unilife offers four payment plans that a resident can choose when confirming their booking.
No Guarantor Required: 1. One Payment: 1st August 2025. 2. Two Payments: 50% on 1st August 2025 & 50% on 6th January 2026.
UK Guarantor Required: 3. Three Payments: 40% on 1st September 2025, 40% on 6th January 2026, 20% on 16th April 2026. 4. Eleven Payments Due on 1st of each month, 11 equal invoices.
Can I still pay 3 or 4 payments without a UK Guarantor? If you do not have a UK Guarantor and still wish to pay in 3 or 4 payments, you can contact Housing Hand who will provide guarantor status
When selecting a three or eleven payment plan, students will require a UK guarantor. When completing the contract online, you will be able to enter the name and email address of your chosen guarantor. They will need to provide their ID, proof of UK status, Utility bill and National Insurance.
If booking a dual occupancy studio, we recommend having separate guarantors.
