Team SURTES is a society of undergraduate motorsport enthusiasts who compete in the prestigious IMechE Formula Student competition at Silverstone, a major event where students design, build, and race their own single seater car. Leading the team is Scott Paige, a Unilife resident at Riverside House in Guildford, whose dedication to the project is truly inspiring.
Our sponsorship will help fund the development of a competitive racing car while also giving Scott and his team the opportunity to develop practical engineering and management skills, key for future careers in automotive, motorsport, and mechanical engineering. After visiting the design centre today, we were incredibly impressed by their vision and hard work.
