Many of our couples renew their contracts with us for the duration of their studies, and they appreciate the room we provide for all their belongings, so there is no need to argue over wardrobe space. One of the best benefits of living in a couples' studio at Unilife is that we offer free dual occupancy, meaning there’s no extra charge for having both of you living together in the same studio. Many student operators charge an additional fee for having two residents in one studio, but not us!
We also offer a simple, all inclusive billing system, so you will not have to worry about managing multiple payments. Our all inclusive bills cover internet, water, heating, electricity, contents insurance, and TV license fees. We also offer each of you £100 laundry credits to use in our laundry room. The best part? You can easily split the weekly amount between the two of you, making it even more affordable to live together in a luxury space.You can even choose different payment plans on your contract.
With flexible contract options ranging from 45 to 51 weeks, you can tailor your accommodation to suit your needs, whether that is staying for the full academic year or just for the semester. You have the freedom to decide how long you want to stay without any unnecessary hassle.
What If My Partner Is Not A Student?
We understand that in some cases, one partner may not be a student, which can be an obstacle when looking for shared student accommodation. At Unilife, we welcome couples where one partner is not a student. You will each need to provide ID and relevant documents. You will also be exempt from Council Tax as the student will be the main tenant.
